I have just never seen a dog behave this way to be groomed.

Well, not quite true come to think of it. Was visiting Jean Blyth one day, she bred Lhasas - she owed Saxonsprings Hackensack had a Crufts BIS win.
Anyway one of her Lhasas that Jean had retired from the ring, was put on the table for me to look at her. She knew she was being looked at and she knew exactly what to do. She was strutting her stuff like she was back in the ring. Even though she was retired as a show dog she knew exactly what to do. Beautiful dogs
Good Boy Beamer! Teddy was 8 months when I brought him home and very well trained by our breeder. He is so easy and just like Beamer, falls asleep when I am grooming him, although he will fall asleep standing up, lol. He is a nail clipping dream dog.

Max has always been good, but I had to work on him in my lap. I trained him wrong. Wish that I could have left him with the breeder until he was older. Now that he is maturing, he works very well standing on the counter. He is very patient.
