We have those static shock mats at strategic doorways in our house to keep the young'uns from bolting outside. Neo feels that I need to be "reminded" that they sting if touched or stepped on -- so he will give me a 'nip" to let me know ! Unfortunately the "reminder" is extremely painful and I now have a collection of scars on various part of my lower extremities (including my butt) . Shorts are definately out of the question at this point, lol!
