There isn't any joy in a pregnancy. The only joy in breeding is knowing that you've done all the right things to breed to the standard to leave the breed in a better place it was than when you found it. This is not the two canines you mated but the breed itself. It takes many years to do things the right way. But well worth it. There's honor in spaying and neutering. This is showing love for your pet. |
Whelping is not my favorite thing to do. It scares me to death, the unknown and knowing every whelp is different and can bring on a whole new set of circumstances. No there isn't any joy in pregnacy, I detest belly pictures. Geez give the girl some dignity .
