Was wondering if anyone has had this happen? Lexi was fine today but tonight she started having what seems like a hard time to swallow. I gave her some water and she did drink it. She has also had some cheese and yogurt treats just now. I did call my vet and he had me give her some children's benadryl. She moves her head forward and licks with her tongue almost like it does hurt to swallow? He told me if the benadryl doesn't seem to help to call him back in an hour and he will meet us. what a great vet we have. Could she catch a sore throat from us? As my hubby has been sick and it did start with a sore throat...thanks so much for your thoughts...Hugs Cheryl & Lexi
P.S. You would think once the kids grow up and we live through that life would get easier....gueeeze I worry just as much and will be up all night
