Well, my Floormate quit on me yesterday.
Third time I'd used it and it stopped working. I called Hoover and arranged to send it back, but they're making ME pay for return shipping. When I heard that, there was no way I was letting them send me a replacement....I'll just buy one locally and if it quits I'll return it and I won't have to worry about paying shipping
again. 
Anyway, I was trying to pack the unit back in the box but I can't get the handle to come off. Does anyone know how to remove it? There's no way it'll fit in the box with that handle still attached.
