Default New puppy is making my Yorkie pout

I have had Woody for 1 year. He is 14 months old now, 4 lbs. He is a laid back lover, cuddler, good boy, and I cherish him. He is trained well and we have an excellent relationship.
Recently we had a visiting dog, Woody and the visitor played, so I decided to get a new puppy for me and Woody. I think he would eventually be happier with a companion.
We welcomed home Mia 5 days ago. She is an all white wild Pomeranian, 4 months old, 2.4 lbs. She is opposite of Woody. She's independent, brave, and curious. She doesn't like to be confined in a crate or pen. When Woody was little he was not like this, he was sick, shy, timid, and very calm. I crate trained him because that's what I believe in. (I was not working then) When I started working he stays in an xpen now, where he can walk, eat, drink, sleep, and go on pads if need be. (I am off again now so I have time for a puppy) But I had no clue it was going to be like this!
At first Woody truned his head away from her. She chased him all around. Sometimes he defends himself, but mostly he is a pushover. He is not 'jealous' per say, but he is not the same, hes acting withdrawn, pouting and sad.
How long will he take to adjust? They do play occasionally but I think he finds her to be a nuseance.
More importantly, since the puppy has arrived Woody does not want to eat. He watches Mia eat and takes a few pieces of her kibble here and there, he takes a few pieces of his kibble here and there. He has been free feeding since he was always a finiky eater, like alot of yorkies. I give him many oppertunities to eat during the day. I finally found a food he likes, Before Grain Buffalo, but the puppy is eating eukenuba, which i don't particularly like. Yesterday he was throwing up all day from midnight to the next evening, but he was not physically sick. He was still running, barking and playing....Which leads me to believe that this is an emotional thing.
Has anybody gone thru this with their first dog when they got a puppy?
I love Woody so much and I want him to get better! Today he ate some kibble, but not his, he ate the puppys kibble.
Please I need advice so everyone can be happy! Thanks YT!
