The sporting goods department at Walmart carries various airhorns. I purchased a pocketsize one that I carry with me for protection. My concern about using it as a bark deterrent is that it is very loud and if used improperly, I fear it could damage hearing.
Max is in love with his powerful voice. He doesn't bark all day, but when he does speak, ouch!
My biggest challenge is finding a way to correct stubborn Max while not upsetting sensitive Teddy. After trying all the usual tips and tricks, including the Bark Repeller (Max isn't phased by it), I have gone back to old fashioned training methods and we are having more success. |
