I saw a post on here a little bit earlier, it was a man posting, he and his wife just had a baby and were looking for tips on how to introduce the baby and the yorkie. People were advising to spend extra time with his yorkie so the pup didn't feel left out.
He posted back that he planned to spend extra special time every day (I believe he said) with his yorkie, after all, the yorkie was their first baby.
I was so touched (and sorry, may not have worded above statement quite correctly) as too many people get pets as their practice baby and easily and quickly get rid of them once the "real" baby arrives on scene.
That post really warmed my heart this evening when I have been so disheartened by posts of several people treating their pets like money making objects
