I'm NOT trying to upset you but I would go ahead and have the surgery ASAP I think she would still be with me if I had done the surgery earlier. She had other issues also but the longer you wait (unless she is different from Mia) the sicker your baby will become. The meds and diet are not a cure. I suggest that you go to the University of Tennesse web site and look and the information on liver shunts. Good luck. I will keep you in my prayers. |
I second, third and fourth this...........When I was on a Yorkie Rescue,I got in a tiny male that was an owner surrender. She kept the little guy just a bit too long before giving him to us. I took him to the Vet. but my Vet said he wouldn't survive surgery so we ask if she wanted to have him back and she was LIVID. I told her she waited too long, but nothing doing, she took him to a Vet. who actually agreed to do the surgery. He died soon as he was put under and that Vet. charged her full price anyway.
Go get your baby operated on while she's able to have surgery.
