Thanks for the great tips everyone. I actually got to introduced them tonight. My parents own Zuki's brother, Ziggi. When we're away Zuki stays at my parent's house. When I picked him up, I brought him a shirt with our sons scent on it. He was very interested in the shirt. When we got home he went straight for the baby and we left him sniff a little. But that is all he wants to do right now. So we're going for a walk to calm down. I think that when he gets over the excitement of the new baby he will be fine. We plan on having time alone with Zuki so he doesn't feel replaced. After all Zuki was our first "baby". Here's another picture of Zuki and Ziggi last year. |
