My Zada had LP surgery in both knees at the same time, but after she was up and running I noticed she did the same thing as your baby once in awhile. I told the Vet. but he didn't think it was anything serious. It got worse, and the Vet. retired and moved to Utah so I took her to an orthopedic surgeon only to find out that Vet. did NOT deepen the groove, plus she had a torn ligament. He repaired that leg, but said he wouldn't need to operate on the other unless it gives her problems.
All I can say is, if your baby gets worse, find an orthopedic surgeon. Don't take anymore chances.
