I highly recommend seeing if your friend can at least check on your new baby. My brother is a breeder who recently shipped a few puppies to me to sell for him. These were good sized puppies so we werent afraid of the flight as they were all bigger than my 1 yro baby. (Tulsa to Washington DC)
Imagine my horror when I picked the little guys up and realized they had not had ANY food or water durring their layover! (How did I know? My brother put stickers at the bottom of the dishes. No crumbs or soggyness to the dishes!!!!)
Luckily the little guys did fantastic. But if they had been smaller? I'm not sure. :-/
