Sorry to hear about Bella. My little one Pixie, just had LP surgery 7 weeks ago and they cut the bone and moved it over and put a pin it it. During her whole recovery period there were days when she looked to be walking funny, not putting pressure on it,skipping when she ran or sometimes it just looked like her leg was positioned weird when standing, still does. The surgeon said she was fine at her 6 week check up. It was about 2-3 weeks into her recovery that she started to walk almost normal so hopefully your Bella will be fine after her recovery period is done. I also found it impossible after the first few days to keep her completely calm. She would get excited when I left or came home and jump on her back legs in the crate. I just did the best I could to keep her quiet and still as much as I could. |
