I have been using Minksheen on my Angel for a few years now. I LOVE the smell, but have heard from many who do not. I am not into perfumes, but love the natural smell of essential oils. I do add a little melted coconut oil to the shampoo on her and then I do use a conditioner as well - Buddy Rinse. I am also in love the Bio-Groom Mink Oil spray conditioner for daily grooming. It is great stuff and I think would really help a cottony coat (though Angel is much more silky).

All that being said, I use Buddy Wash/Rinse on Sissy as it just leaves her coat nicer than Minksheen. She has a much coarser coat on the body, but still silky on her head. I also add a little melted coconut oil for her and hse the Bio-Groom Mink Oil Conditioner for daily grooming.

P.S. I should add that I do not use any flea protection as my girls use indoor potty pads, but we are outdoors on occasion and I have never had a problem, even when visiting sandy areas that are known for fleas.
