Hi everyone

havent been on lately

i have a small yorkie named bella..(in avatar =) )
they claimed she weighs 4lbs..?? where i asked?..lol

anyhow we had a bad fall..my office chair had 4 yorkies under it and got tangled, toppled over and poor bella got the brunt and i broke her femur ='(

she has had her surgery and a pin inserted, scheduled to come out the 31st of august...

im so thankful for my vet as well..

she is too stay crated and leash walked..i let her out several times a day on a leash and after potty break she is either carried by me, held by me and leashed right next to me...

i thought she looked normal when walking the first few days and today i thought it looked different..looked like it was turned and possibly not putting as much pressure on it...??

so i called the vet who got right on the phone and said can you bend her knee? i said yes i can fold her leg up and down no problem..he said no worries she will walk better when the pin comes out...but it kind of looks funny to me...maybe its her adjusting to it? i have never had a dog with a broken bone of any kind and im nervous to mess with her..lol

but she is extremely happy and frisky and wont sit still in the crate at times...gets a little bouncy when its time to come out and go in..

anyone ever had a dog with a pin in her back leg? does it look funny sometimes?
