I just got back from the vet's. I was told Lexi had an very enlarged lymph node by the inside of her right back leg. They did a needle aspiration to send off to test for possible lymphoma. None of her other lymph nodes are affected, and she has acted like she felt fine, we were only there for routine shots. Does that sound like proper procedure? Should antibiotics have been tried first for possible infection? I'm worried and confused.
Thank You!
