I did think about this actually. But they never go outside really unless it is in their fenced yard and she is only around the male dog, Bo. I really think that it could have just been a slip up with the dogs being together when they thought she may be out of heat, so they didnt really pay as close attention to them or somthing. All we know is that she popped out 5 puppies
