Size matters. Everything matters when it comes to selecting a broad bitch. Choosing one is one of the most important things in a breeding program. You should select the best one possible. They are very expensive, don't settle. Make sure you have a mentor & do the breed justice in your choices. We've been given great joy with the yorkshire terrier by those before us. It's our responsibility to take care of this precious breed.
I see that you bought a puppy at 8 weeks. This isn't the right beginning. Not your fault. But odds are, she isn't coming from a good line to breed from. They need to be with the dam for a minimum of 12 wks. This is a minimum! They learn so much from their siblings before leaving the liter.

It would be good to get a mentor & honor the breed. Many people begin their journey in the breed like you. If you would like to find a breed club or kennel club, we'll help you with this.
