Keoki did this in his first year so I had to crate him when I left. He didn't like it at first but after about a week he would just go to sleep. It's very hard to crate train them but once they get used to it they are fine ( i had a crate cover so he felt safe inside ) He would bark when I would walk out the door and then calm down. At least I knew he would be safe while I was gone and after his first year he learned how to escape so he is a free man now
