You might get bad advice, but someone will come around and clear it up. I'm a little confused, what type of advise did you want from us? You ask for advice, it's given, and then you say, your vet knows more than any of us. I will tell you, I've read way too many threads here on how a tiny would accidentally get pregnant and vet thought it would be ok, but it died. I suppose the death of your Misty is a chance your vet is willing to take, but are you? My advice since you have so little confidence in the answers you are receiving is to take your questions to your vet. Breeders may not be able to answer your questions on how to do surgery, but good breeders do know lots about breeding, they studied it for years before they decided to breed. |
You probably won't come back, but if you do, this is great info right here. You're right, we didn't go to vet school, which is why we trust our dogs care, surgeries, emergencies to the professionals. Breeding IS NOT an emergency. It is planned, it is something you wait for, and FYI, it is something that a breeder studies for. They know so much about their breed, in this case the Yorkshire Terrier, that they are experts in what makes a Yorkshire Terrier a Yorkshire Terrier. They know how to help, which ones to breed, and yes, in this subject, they know more than vets.
