I also have a Dyson Animal, I got mine at Fry's -its a refurb but I think I paid maybe $150.00 for it two years ago. I love it, picks up well on both carpet and hardwood floors but what I like the best is the brush attachment, I use it to clean the slates on my plantation blinds and it works GREAT.
Sophie Kate not so much a fan of the Dyson, she attempts to bark it into submission.
