The only other thing you need is to prepare a quiet place for him. Your toughest assignment after neuter is keeping them calm and quiet when all they want to do is run and play. Keep him in a pen, or crate. If you could be there to keep him quiet all day and night for a few days, that would be great for him. Otherwise, keep him crated or penned up. Sucks, but you don't want to risk him hurting himself.

I'll keep both Miloh and Rocco in my prayers for a safe uneventful day.
Yah they kept my dog Maya for three days. The day before, the day of the the surgery, and the day after to recover. I went crazy without her.
