What are you wanting her for, as a pet or to breed? Yorkies change so much the first couple of years. Experienced breeders say, you can't tell much until at least 7 months. A silky and a yorkie should have a very similar coat in color and texture, if a yorkie has a cotton coat, it's much harder to care for, and the silk coat is a breeze to care for.
