I've got my boy back! He's sleepy, but did very well with his surgery. The vets office called and said we could pick him up if we wanted or they could keep him over night, it was our call. We rushed down there- I missed my boy.
The incision looks great. He's already had a little bit to drink at the office and had no problems keeping it down. I can start feeding him in a few hours. He's had a pain shot, so he's pretty sleepy right now- though he perked up when they brought him around the corner and he saw us.
His blood work was absolutely normal, so that's another weight off my mind.
I'm glad to have everyone at home. I'm just going to go watch him sleep for a while
