I will definitely try to keep the radio on and find a sizable barrier to keep her from the walls, cabinets, etc. I'm guessing the radio soothes them, thus keeps them from barking? I don't want her to have a nervous breakdown; I have never had any animal get SO attached. But this is also my first Yorkie, and is why I love her so much, and is why I'm so concerned about returning to work. Thank you both for your prompt reply, and for letting me know that I'm not alone. (:
