Great post! This is what I was going to say. I made sure to budget in the monthly expenses as well as some emergency money before I bought Lulu. I know you want a yorkie badly, as did I. But it is better to wait to be sure you can afford all that owning a yorkie entails than to get a puppy & not be able to afford to care for her.
