I wasn't even looking for a yorkie but there he was. I adopted him 2 years ago from our local animal welfare. He cost me $150. He was on meds for ear infection, lyme disease, had 2 teeth removed, neutered and microchipped. Now that's a deal!!!! He was only 2years at the time. He is the love of my life. No one that meets him can resist him. He loves everyone. And when I tell them about how and where I got him they can not believe it. There are so many wonderful dogs just waiting for homes. So many people have had to give their pets for so many reasons. It couldn't hurt for you and your wife to start there while you save for a puppy.. but who knows you just may end up with the one that makes your home complete. |
