My Friend has had bernese mountain dog's all her life, a couple of years ago she got a new pup called Clive.
He's gorgeous but she really thinks there is something wrong with him as he just wont listen to a word she says.
He is house trained and knows how to behave but he picks and chooses WHEN he wants to behave.
They have never been able to have christmas decorations up in there house since they got him because he just tears them down.
My friend and her husband both work full time but they have a dog sitter who comes in to play with Clive and take him for long runs, so he does get enough excercise.
Last time I saw her she had a deep puncture wound (from a bite) on her arm and her arm was just black and blue with bruises... She said he did it because she had given him a biscuit then went to put the packet away but he wanted another one so he bit her

She is really upset but she dosnt think she can handle him anymore.. she said she has never had a bernese who has acted this way and when you have a 10 stone dog jumping on you I understand It is hard to control them.
She is thinking of giving him to her sister who owns a farm.
Her sister has a rottweiler who is an outside dog, he sleeps in the stables to look after the horses and Clive gets on well with him.
What are your opinions on this? is there anything you can suggest or do you think Clive going to live on the farm is the best option?
Thanks in advance.
