I'm really sorry what happen to you. That is just aweful. 1200$ is ALOT of money and to get nothing in return. I can just imagine how devastated you are.

Please don't let this set you back because there are good breeders out there who won't take advantage of you. YOu need to build a relationship with your breeder first and make sure they are established.

My Lola was a rehome but Zach came from a breeder. We talked back and forth for a month before I took him home. We got to know each other well and she was so helpful. She told me every detail about him and he was everything she said he was! She even gave me references from previous people who got puppies from her. We still talk very often and I send pictures of him to let her see how he is doing.

It's true you buy your breeder first. It's so nice to have someone to email or call if you have a question about your new baby. My breeder even says she will take him back if for any reason EVER I can't keep him. That's a good breeder!
