I've seen some leather harnesses here at the stores, but they're harsh looking and the smallest they carry is the ferret size, which is like a collar and we know that collars are a big no-no for yorkies. But the durability of leather may be good.
Just got this cute Snoopy fabric harness for Kenzie, and they had her size and she seems to like it
