It is good to have on hand with little ones around the house. If your little one does not eat, gets an upset tummy, and just will not eat you will need it in case your little one starts acting funny. you will need it to prevent them from going into hypoglycemia.It can come on fast so be ready. My vet said to give it to both of mine every day that I did not think they were eating enough. It works well and you would use it instead of karo syrup. Good luck
