Several years back my vet gave me valium for my boy. He has never once been to the groomers, I do it, but I cannot cut his nails, trim his feet or anywhere around his face. He freaks out and I get very afraid he will bite me (although if he did, I doubt it would be too hard).
Even on the valium, he still freaked out and I couldn't get anywhere near his feet. I gave up on that as why drug him when it made no difference anyways?
The vets office does trim his nails for me ($18) and they tell me he is so quite and such a good boy for them
