I can't agree more, we have a male and female,we did what we thought was enough to stop them from having puppies, she wore panties, he wore a belly band, and we thought we kept them apart,but no such luck,my daughter let them out in the back yard togeather,and you know what happened...now after a c section,we have one little boy baby,he is fine,but it was real hard on the mommy,I will get them both fixed because it won't ever happen again, yes I had bought them with the idea they could have puppies,as I used to raise maltese,but not any more,she weighs 4.5 lbs and he weighs 4.8 lbs,yet there puppy was a rotty,when he was born he weighed 5.5oz not the normal 3 oz...I will not be able to recover the cost of his birth,ran me $1,000 and more to come,plus yorkies in my area are not selling at that price,so I would say to people out there,check out everything first and let the professional breeders do what is right,we love our babies but will never do this again,not that we wanted to,darn that daughter and that derterminded guy dog...

I'm having a hard time believing this statement!! This would mean, that at birth, the puppy weighed MORE than the mother did while she was carrying it!! Must be a typo---I hope!!
