This is exactly what was wrong with our Finnigen. He is 5 1/2 and was rubbing his face for the last week. Scratching. We thought it might be a bug bite. Yesterday morning my son noticed he had rubbed it almost raw causing the fur to fall out. I knew it had to be more than just a mosquito bite so we researched on here, and figure out it must be yeast. When the Vet opened today (long weekend in Saskatchewan so yesterday was a Stat holiday) we took Finnigen in. The vet gave us antifungal drops, wipes, and pills for the next week. I am going to also start putting Apple Cider Vinegar in their water and be more diligent about cleaning up eye gunk.
