 Skin itch as it stretches?
Okay, our little girl Emmy is 49 days pregnant. She is an 8 lb yorkie, 2 1/2 years old and this is her first and only litter. We bred her with the assistance of our vet, who specializes in yorkies - his 3 lb male is the sire. We have researched, discussed and prepared for the last 18 mos. But now I am running into something that I haven't heard anything about. She is itching constantly. There are no fleas or any other type of insect bothering her - could it be dry or stretched skin? And if so, how do I help her? We have an appt with the vet in a few hours, but I wanted to see what information I could glean from this site in the mean time. Thank you! |
