I travel with my two yorkies quite a bit (by car) and they don't eat very well when we're not at home. They eat kibble usually twice a day. They will always eat treats so I always have some of those on vacation to at least make sure they eat something. I've thought maybe that's why they don't eat their food but at least I know they're getting something while we're away from home They don't have too many potty issues when not at home, but I do take them out more often when we're in a new place. If they haven't gone for a while, I will usually walk them around the block or something until they go. We've been away from home for as long as a week and they ate less than half as much of their food as they would have at home. When we get back home and into a routine again they get back to normal. I suppose that's a lot like what happens to me when I'm on vacation. Many happy travels to you & your family!
