Neutering is actually one of the simplest procedures done. It's quite, fairly painless, and your dog will likely be running around afterwards like nothing happened. You should try to keep him fairly quiet the day after. Definitely stay with him for at least 24 hours after the procedure because of the anesthesia. But other than that, there's really nothing to it. I've been through several neuterings and none of my dogs ever missed a beat (or their testicles :-) Good luck!
