You can check your airline's website and it'll have all the info and requirements as far as whether or not they require a health cert. You might have to hunt a bit for it but I've checked every one of the major carriers at one time or another and they all have the info. Most don't require a health cert but there are a couple that do, usually no older than 30 days prior to travel. They'll also have the size specs for the carrier. Make sure you pack two or three potty pads in your carry on, especially if it's a longer flight and also for when you're in the terminal. Really easy to go into the bathroom on the plane or a handicapped or end stall in the restroom at the terminal if he needs a pit stop. For carriers, the size may vary a bit from airline to airline but they all require that it's ventilated on at least two sides and a waterproof bottom. I'd put a potty pad in the carrier under any blanket or pillow just in case of accidents. |
