You could just bring it to her house a day or so before the wedding and say you wanted there to be less to transport after the wedding. But don't let her open it until after the wedding.... just tell her she has to wait. I've been in weddings and I've always brought it and put it on the gift table before or after the ceremony....depending on if the ceremony and reception are at the same place.
