Thanks to everyone for the replies. I took a urine sample into the vet today; no stones, no crystals and no blood. I guess I over reacted. Don't know what I found, but apparantly it was not blood. But, I have been under a great deal of stress. I lost my husband three months ago to lung cancer. We got the diagnoisis on March 23 and I lost him on April 24. He was the love of my life.
So, everything is very scary now. He was only 56 years old, and I am 50 with no family in town. We were both over protective of our puppy angel, but now I am even more so. He has been such a great deal of comfort during this time.
