I can only speak to the male that I have who's only 7.5 months old. He is cuddly when he wants to be, and is pretty independent and playful also. I heard that he will be an absolute love-bug as a neutered adult male. He LOVES people, and I must say, his socialization skills with other dogs has increased 10-fold since he was boarded for a few days last month while we were on vacation. He is no longer afraid, and will happily meet any size dog with a mad wagging tail
