Pig ears are EVIL! I just got my little guy out of the hospital because he had pancreatitis due to too much fat. I was giving him some cheese as training treats and general snacks not thinking I was overdoing it at all then the other day I gave him some tiny pig ears to snack on and that sent him over the edge!

Those pig ears are in any ways good for dogs! They are extremely high in fat and do not digest well at all like rawhide. He has bully sticks and has chewed on them since a pup and that is all he will get now! I learned it the hard way a $1000/and a vet stay.

Also, rawhide and greenies are no good for them. They do not digest like food - they have to pass through the system.
