Ladies:
Please remember that this original poster is posting on an as available basis from IRAQ. Unless he has a laptop there of his own and has purchased Internet service (if available in his particular area), then he is on pool computers in a computer room with only 15 - 20 minutes of computer time each opportunity he has to get to that room.
He won't be able to place phone calls or do extensive searches online or in-person visits until he comes home on leave February 12th.
It sounds as though he is trying to make a dream come true for his wife that is trying to live as normal of a life as possible while he is out on deployment in a dangerous area. I commend him very much for thinking about what will make her happy and give her lots of joy and companionship. I wish I lived close to Hopkinsville. I'd do the legwork, visit breeders, check litters, prices, take pics, etc to help him out.
Remember too that this service member is preparing for the Iraqi elections on Dec 15th (they are almost a day ahead of us - their days are our nights) and will be very busy with his mission until things settle down there.
Charles, I'll keep you in my prayers, especially in the coming weeks, just as I do for my son who is there too.
Lisa
