All of mine use the potty pads when we are gone and at night time if needed...when we are home the doggie door is open, the potty pad comes up and they go in and out freely to play or do their 'business' in the yard. We have not had any confusion with training issues...the only 'issue' we have is sometimes when we are gone the girls will use a rug instead of the washable potty pad because of the similar feel under their feet. I wish I would have stayed with disposable pads and the tray. |
