One of the fastest growing scams is so called rescues. Breeders and brokers often own "rescue" and market their dogs this way. A legitimate rescue will work with vets and get low costs neuters done before they place the dogs, and selling an unneutered/unspayed dog is one of the biggest tipoffs. This dog is probably an ex-breeder, and it sounds like her owner is willing to sell her to anyone for the money. Good breeders will sell ex-breeders after having them spayed/neutered, and a teeth cleaning and the cost for this is around $300.00 even for a champion, so even place for free to the right home. So beware, if the price is much higher. |
