Attachments are such a pain, but I am too old and lazy to get down on my hands and knees to clean hard to reach places.
I use the attachments with mine and really like them. What I do is use the small brush with the wand to clean along the baseboards to get the dirt away from the edges. Then I use the Floormate to suck up all of the crud when I do the rest of the floors. I also use it in the bathrooms to do behind the toilet and my pedestal sink. It really is amazing how much cleaner my floors feel on my barefeet now.

Our one bathroom has tile that runs behind the toilet and sink halfway up the wall. I've even used it to clean the splatters from the toothpaste and stuff~~kids

Since I broke my arm last year I have a really hard time getting down on my hands and knees to clean. I don't have the flexion like I use to when it comes to this type of cleaning so I really like how the attachments work. There had been a lot of cleaning that I am no longer able to do and the Floormate has really helped me.
