I found with Rhett that his biting would increase exponentially if he was hyper stimulated. What helped with him when he got like this was to pick him up and move to a quiet spot in the house. If he continued, he got a brief "time out" in the crate (just a minute or two) then back out to play.
He's 6 months now and almost never mouths any of the people at home. Once in awhile we do get a little nip, but it's always because we've gotten our hand in the way while he was playing with Scarlett.
