My little girl Tilly seems to also get a runny nose when I turn my AC on a low temp. She also then (almost immediately the day after) shows a little bit of flew or cold symptoms.
It is really hot here and we cannot live without AC in the house, but I make sure not to put mine on lower than 24degrees C.
