My Morkie Boomer was with me the first two weeks I had him.... Then my sister took him because originally he belonged to her. After about a month he came back with me because my sister had a hard time with a puppy and a 6 year old boy. Boomer did just fine each time...
I think yours will do fine since he's still really young.
