That one day sounds sooner than later. I wouldn't advise taking her out at this time. Could you schedule some time off? She really needs to be at home and not get stressed out by being taken around.
Take the time now to familiarize yourself with just how her rear area looks. You'll need to be able to recognize any changes. Though it doesn't necessarily mean she's about to give birth, one thing to look for is an enlarging and flattening out of the area between her vulva and behind. When that happens, she's getting close, but I've seen that happen a full day before labor begins.....and then again, some girls can go into labor very quickly, so be prepared.
